Clay Carnival 2018 at Clay Planet in Santa Clara
Clay Carnival is a one day of mini workshops presented by 8 local artists sharing their knowledge and best practices regarding ceramics and pottery. Each participant selects up to four, 90 minute workshops.
This year, I am honored to be a presenter again at Clay Carnival. I will be covering surface texture using Korean Saangam Style carving, stamping and slip inlay. All of my stamp work is done using my own carved stamps, so I will also cover stamp carving too. At present, Child Advocates of Silicon Valley provides advocates to only 46% of Santa Clara County’s foster children. Archangel Holiday Boutique aims to support the efforts of Child Advocates of Silicon Valley so that every single foster child will have a CASA We hope that you will join us in our mission to make it possible for Child Advocates of Silicon Valley to recruit, train, and support enough CASAs so that no foster child in our county will have to struggle alone.

Main OVCAG FINAL frontThe Main Gallery presents Stories, a stunning exhibition of contemporary ceramic art by members of The Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild (OVCAG). Included in the show are both carefully crafted pieces for the home and thought-provoking sculptures by ceramic artists Nessy Barzilay, Liz Burkhouse, Eliane Davidovich, Doris Fischer-Colbrie, Megan George, Lisa La Rocca, Jeannie Llewellyn, Jan Schachter, Miki Shim-Rutter, Ken Takara and Susan Van Valkenburg.
